Chain with monkey’s fist knots

1   Begin by making 9 monkey’s fist knots following the instructions. Make the knots in leather cords of different thickness. Hold one end of the leather cord with your thumb. Wrap the leather cord around 4 fingers 3 times.

2   Wrap the leather cord around the middle of the first leather cord 3 times.

3   Wrap the leather cord around the core of all the leather cords 3 times.

4   Tighten the leather cord so that there is about the same length of cord in both sides.

5   This is how the knot looks like when it is completely tightened. Glue the ends and cut off the excess cord.

6   Then thread the knots onto a thick leather cord with silver flowers and glue them in place.

7   Put glue onto the ends of the cord and put them into a silver spacer tube bead.
